Essential figure in the world of art, his youth was virtually unknown until an articles appeared which revolutionised the art world appeared in 2002. The group of works assigned to an anonymous artist, called the Master of the Judgment of Solomon, were in fact paintings by the Valencian painter in his early years in Rome and Naples. Since then more than 50 paintings have been incorporated into its catalogue, among them several capital works made when he was only around 20 years old.
